About Us
About Cameron Pet Crematory
Cameron Pet Crematory is located in Mineral Ridge, OH. We offer Private and Common Cremation options for your pets. We offer a wide selection of urns, memorials, and keepsakes for however you choose to remember your loved one. Our business was founded by my wife and I (Courtney and Bobby) in 2025. Courtney has been a Veterinarian since 2018, and we started Comfort Crossing In-Home Pet Euthanasia in 2023, where she still practices. In the early stages of her business, we provided cremation services to her clients through other entities. We decided that, rather than transporting your pet to another entity for the cremation, we would like to see the process through to the end, and get your pet back home safely to you.
It was important to us to provide our services to the greater Mahoning Valley, since this area will always be home to us. We feel that this location gives you, the pet owner, a realistic opportunity to drop off, pick up, or to simply lay eyes on our facility to ease your mind. We see the negative headlines surrounding crematories, and we understand the fears these can create regarding this industry. Our goal is to help alleviate those fears by providing a service, with transparency and professionalism, that every pet owner deserves.
About Us
I (Bobby) grew up in Mineral Ridge, Ohio, and Courtney in West Palm Beach, Florida. Courtney played softball at YSU, which is where we met. Courtney went on to Michigan State University, where she graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), while I remained at YSU and graduated as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).
We enjoy traveling abroad, road trips, watching sports, playing sports, and spending time with our families. Neither of us grew up thinking one day we’d own a pet crematory, but over the years, we have acquired a passion for end-of-life pet care, and we’d be honored if you’d allow us to help your family.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know I’m receiving my pet’s ashes?
When we receive your pet, they are assigned an ID number with a corresponding stainless steel tracking tag. This tag will accompany your pet through the cremation process, and will be returned with their ashes to ensure you are only receiving your pet.
How long will it take to get my pet’s ashes returned?
This will vary based on how many pets we receive on a given day. When we receive your pet, we can give you a better idea of how long it will be. We will always do our best to get your pet returned ASAP.
Can I have my pet cremated with blankets, toys, etc?
Yes, within reason. There are certain materials that we cannot cremate, but a regular blanket and cloth toys are safe to cremate. For example, rubber and plastic toys will not be cremated, but you can certainly send them with your pet to accompany them on ride to our facility. If there is something you would like to keep that belongs to your pet, we advise you to keep it at home so that it can’t be misplaced.
Do you have other keepsake or memorial options?
Yes, we keep a large selection of urns in stock, and we have a catalogue with even more options. Contact us for more info if you have a specific idea you want to discuss.
